Paraprofessionals Role In Education

Decent Essays
As a paraprofessional, I will be working with the teacher and assisting the students. I will be following the behavior system the school and teacher have in place. By being consistent, the students will know what I expect in regards of behavior. I believe paraprofessionals need to be leaders for the students. Children look up to paraprofessionals as role models while they are at school. Paraprofessionals need to let the students know that they are here for them. Parents and guardians should get to know the paraprofessional in the classroom. This allows for better communication about the student and the parents and guardians know who is working with their child.

The family, school, and community play a vital role in the education system.
