Symptoms vary from superstitious and magical beliefs like telepathy, to more elaborate, circumstantial and stereotyped ways of thinking, but also eccentric, peculiar, worried, paranoid behaviors. They act in such a way that others think of them as cold and insensitive people. Kaczynski, in particular, could not establish a relationship with a girl and this made him become violent towards the family, with heavy verbal attacks. He had a degree in mathematics from the University of Cambridge, but he thought that the Industrial Revolution had ruined society and that he was ruining himself. Therefore, even to escape from the reality that was living, he decided to retire to Montana, to recreate his own universe, to rebel against all this.
Like when it happened in 1952, when Kaczynski was moved to a new school, mixed with cultures, by his parents, but unfortunately this was anti-constitutional, and he adopted racist systems (nurture) against his classmates. This, therefore, led Kaczynski to have thoughts and racial ways towards others.
Another environmental factor, which has had a great influence on his growth, was certainly the fact that his parents had no communication with him (nurture family), because they forced him and pushed him too much to academic studies, even in a heavy way. Moreover, even the way they had educated him influenced his way of seeing reality and people, since his family was atheist and, as they did not want others to know, instructed him to say that they were Unitarians Universalists. He was mentally and emotionally abused by his parents, that used verbal abuses to push him psychologically, and maybe they made him feel inferior to his brother
