In addition, the time spent at home means the mom can prepare for her family nutritious, home-cooked meals. Not all mothers have the luxury of being able to stay with their children, which is unfortunate, yet understandable. Not all children need the constant affection of their parents, and are more independent and self-reliant. Also, just because the child and their mother were not able to spend that much time together in the beginning does not mean that they can not form a great bond when the child is older. Knowing these factors, it is still overall better for a mom to be with her child, as it is the way nature intended it to be.
