A Canadian statistics website called Statcan.gc.ca states, “Many teenagers aged 15 to 19 have schedules just as busy as those of some adults.” All teens have different activities consuming their time, but I will briefly describe some that I believe are the most significant. School is the most important responsibility in most teenagers’ lives. Being in high school is almost equivalent to having a part-time job in some aspects. A significant portion of the day is spent in classes, and sometimes students can have up to hours in homework. A hardworking teen recognizes the importance of doing well in school and preparing for the future. I encourage high school kids to set high goals in their classes and earn good grades, for it will be worth all of the long hours of studying and homework in the long …show more content…
Spending time with family and friends is necessary, but often hard to fit into the schedule of a teen who is involved in other time consuming activities. It is also important for teenagers to get enough sleep, but if you arrive home late from practice or your shift at work and have a couple hours of homework to complete, it is not easy to squeeze in a full eight hours of rest before you have to wake up for classes again the following day.
