We can all be too wrapped up in the keeping-up-with-the-Jones attitude, and what people may say or think about what we are doing or trying to achieve. It is important I think that cockiness can be an over compensator for the fear that a lot of people feel. They tend to go a bit overboard and come across as being a know-it-all or sometimes just a bully. The feeling of uncertainty can kill off your chances of getting ahead so face your fears, feel your fears, see your fears, smell your fears, and hear your fears, head on and push through. The best way to deal with fear is to understand that it is natural and it is telling you that you must be prepared.

I believe that things happen for a reason, if you are making certain adjustments in your life and are planning your futures future, then please do not worry or concern yourself about things that you can’t control. Learn to switch off from everyday life. Go to the gym or a yoga class or go out for a bicycle ride or walk. Learn to divert your attention to less stressful activities. Meditate and listen to your mind, see yourself stress free and happy.

Take all the necessary actions you can to minimise any conflict and be rest assured you have done what you can. Having done that, you could say that! 90% of your worries are not based on anything apart from fear. Fear of hearing bad news at the doctors because you have been called back after a blood test and you procrastinate and try to ignore it. Fear of having done something wrong and are not sure how to put things right. You see, the simple act of worrying can lead to all these knock-on effects and you get deeper and deeper into a hole. If something is on your mind, then take action to address that situation or dilemma. If you are not sure how to tackle it, then ask somebody who can help. You’ll be amazed by how most people will help
