I can’t wait for Christmas this year. Christmas, this year, is going to be full of joy because I will be spending it with the ones I love in North Carolina. Last Christmas we woke up early and spent the morning eating breakfast and talking with each other. We are going to spend all day with each other, catching up about our past and what has happened in our lives since the last time we were together. I rarely get to see my Uncle and Aunt because of the distance between the states we live in, so we can’t go and see them too easily.
When we get to North Carolina, we usually like to spend as much time as we can with them because we know we won’t get to see them for a while. We tend to play video games, watch movies, and spend every meal talking and enjoying a well-made

Once the food was fully prepared we put our food on our plates and sat down to eat with each other and have a nice conversation amongst one another. After we finished eating, we washed up all of the dishes, then headed out to the living room to see the tree which was surrounded by presents and even had presents underneath. After we opened our presents, I took all the money I had received and we went out to store so I could buy myself a brand new PlayStation 4. When we got there, I picked out the PlayStation of my choice, then headed to the check-out line, however we had a little problem paying for the console due to the fact of my dog chewing up my debit card enough to where it was difficult to scan the chip or the barcode on the back. Once we got back home, I was so eager so set up my new game system and start playing it with my cousin, so we hooked it up and started playing the system. We played all night until we passed out

Ebenezer Scrooge’s adventure is a journey of discovery – learning that a heart filled with goodwill and charity, instead of bitterness and greed are more valuable and prosperous to the soul than material riches. He should!” At the end of his adventure, by the dawn of Christmas Day, he awoke a changed man and a champion for the Christmas spirit, not just on Christmas Day, but all year.…

This past Sunday I attended the school play, which was a comedy based along the storylines of The Christmas Carol. I noticed many people from the community brought their children along for the comedy. For someone who doesn’t really care for plays, or Christmas it was somewhat interesting to go into the play having doubts beforehand and coming out of it with a different view. The exposition started off the same as The Christmas Carrol.…

Upon seeing A Christmas Carol on the night of Friday, November 18th, I had what I thought to be a firm understanding of the Charles Dicken’s classic. It was until the show was over that I realized my previous interpretation was completely senseless, with little to no opinion deriving beyond the script. As I dove into the performance in the Joan C, Edwards playhouse, I made personal connections that I had never made before when watching other adaptions of A Christmas Carol, in particular Scrooge (1970), my father’s favorite. Every detail of this performance aided in my overwhelming positive review, asserting this play as my favorite of all the revisions I have seen.…
