: Bukit Tinggi is a highalnd that located at the Bentong district of Pahang in Malaysia. In recent years, Bukit Tinggi Highland is considered as the newest highlands in Malaysia apart from some well-known highlands such as Genting Highland, Kundasang, Cameron Highland and Fraser’s Hill. The founder of Berjaya Groups, Tan Sri Dato' Seri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun bought 16000 acres of tropical forest at the Bukit Tinggi Pahang and he tends to make Bukit Tinggi Pahang becoming a “The village of world” as he wants to build a place based on the famous and unique scenery that exist around the world into this tropical forest. Undoubtedly, the cooling and refreshing weather is what makes such a small hill town one of the popular attraction to visit in Malaysia. Bukit Tinggi located approximately 48 km away from Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Tinggi is easily accessible from Karak Highway by car for 45 minutes. The entrance fees are RM12.00 and RM8.00 for the child who aged 4 to 12. Once you paid and entered, you will be able to access to the three main attractions in Bukit Tinggi. They are named the Rabbit Farms, Japanese Village and of course, Colmar Tropicale. Colmar Tropicale is the unique French-themed attraction at Bukit Tinggi Resort. It stands 2,600 feet above sea level on 80 acres of natural forestland. The first of its kind in Malaysia, it is modelled after the 16th Century Colmar Village in Alsace, France and has retained the authenticity and European feel of its counterpart.
