BACKGROUND

Paragon Construction Company Limited is a state of the art construction company operating from its location at 10 Harbour Drive, Harbour View, Kingston 17. The business is privately owned and operated by Timothy Corrigan who is a University of Technology and Liverpool graduate with 1st class honours in the Civil Engineering and Construction Management. Along with three other university graduates who have qualification and experience in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineer (MEP), Management Studies and Financial Controlling. They have been excited to add to the economy and construction industry by assisting in providing jobs for some of Jamaica’s unemployed persons.
Paragon has introduced various types of construction and services to the industry; it aims at satisfying the customers by providing the best quality products and services at the lowest prices. There focus is broad which offers their expertise from as small as home expansion to as larger as building airport that entails both building, civil and structural experience with a wide range of other services and in the company

In order to do this a two-step approach is being made. A mail-shot enclosing a reintroduction to the company along with a Caribbean brochure is being prepared and will be sent to construction professionals in both Jamaica and the Caribbean. This will be followed up with personal visits to explain their marketing strategy and business development philosophy. The expected outcome is an increased awareness that Paragon is indeed around and on the ground and is looking for work, an influx of leads for upcoming jobs and general intelligence on construction activity in both Jamaica and the
