Paper Towns is an American drama, mystery and romance film that is entitled the same novel, Paper Towns by John Green. The film is about a boy named Quentin, who has the time of his life when he joins Margo, a girl he has loved for many years in an all- night adventure. Margo, who later on disappears, leaves clues for Quentin and his friends to follow on their journey of a lifetime.
What makes this film so different from other “cliché teen in High School” films, it the ending.. That what’s characteristic and makes this movie unique is that it doesn’t have the typical end, it’s not the typical boy gets the girl end. It is more about experiencing life, the film seems to tell us that there is more to than life than just a girl, there is more to life than high school. According to the film, living life is not about the destination, but about the journey. Everything in high school is just temporary.
