Paper Towns John Green Essay

The book Paper Towns, by John Green, takes place in Orlando, Florida. One of the main characters, Quentin Jacobson, discusses his circumstances of the last weeks of senior year.
During the last few weeks, he was reunited with an old friend, Margo Roth Spiegelman. They went off one night pulling off pranks on Margo’s old best friends who had backstabbed her.
Gradually they became friends like old times. Unfortunately, Margo went missing and Quentin went out of his way looking for her leaving all that he had instead of staying back. During his search for Margo, he was assisted by some other teenagers: Margo’s old best friend, Lacey Pemberton, and his own friends, Ben and Radar. During his search for Margo, not only Quentin, but everyone

As Quentin and Margo were at the top of the SunTrust building, Margo expressed how Orlando was a “paper town”. She also expressed her hatred towards Orlando and how she felt like a paper girl in the town. At the end of the book she used this reasoning to leave behind everyone and told Quentin she was going to wait longer but she could not handle her feelings.
Quentin Jacobson, in my opinion, was the most well- developed character in
Paper towns. In the book you learn Quentin’s feelings towards people, his emotions towards certain situations, and what he does for fun. Without knowing these few facts about Quentin, the book would not have interesting plots and scenarios. His emotions and feelings towards Margo express why he is giving up all that he has just to find her. Also, his dislike for Chuck made Quentin take off Chucks eyebrow for payback, which due to that, started an abundance of drama. Quentin very clearly states how he feels about this situation and threatened to leak Jason Worthington’s nude photo. Knowing a good relationship with
Quentin’s friends, Radar and Ben, and what they do in their spare time shows how Quentin is a normal teenage boy. Knowing that they hang out and without any other facts would make

There are many factors in George's early life that led to him being one not easily tempted by wrong. They actually did find her in Agloe at the place they went to search for her and Margo got pretty startled to see them there because it was never her plan to lead Q to her. Q got enraged because she left without saying a word and left him to wonder if she was still alive, so they got into an argument. Since this scene kind of defines and forms the ending of the book, the film's end is a bit different and I would say that it made the end kind of frustrating. Mostly because Q saw Margo randomly at the station where he was waiting for his bus and Margo also explained that she had contact with her little sister the whole time, which I find really annoying because Q talked to her little sister right after Margo’s…
