The fact after thirty-two years they are still in the industry does speak volumes about the organization. How did Papa John’s manage to pull off such a successful year, especially at a time when so much buzz in the pizza category was directed at the upstart fast-casual chains hoping to eat its lunch? “Basically we run our play,” Schnatter says. “We do what we’re supposed to do every day”(Hilmantel,2016).
