In the day where almost anything goes and designers, both amateurs and professionals, can be fearless in their choices, bending or even breaking traditions and rules that have been around for decades. That’s where the palates come in. Swatches of the 77 colors with the palates and inspirational product images are all included and intended to be used not only in the inspiration phase of any design project, but when the designer takes their idea and puts it in a form that others can see their ideas before additional time, labor, and money are spent.
“As media continue to move toward more evocative, imaginative and innovative uses of color to woo consumers, unexpected color stories are emerging,” said Leatrice Eiseman. “To capture attention and keep product lines relevant in the consumer’s eye, it’s important to understand the impact that this always-morphing innovation will have on color and design trends for 2016.”
