When I hear the quote “You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only choice” –anonymous all I can think of is the elegant Bengal white tiger. The white tiger, scientific name Panthera Tigris Tigris is my personal favorite animal. The white tiger is awfully similar to the majestic Bengal tiger in appearance, behavior and, habitat apart from its beautiful ivory coat.

The Bengal white tiger uniqueness is greatly thanks to its shocking appearance. The tiger’s magnificent appearance is a result of its glossy snow painted coat which is not caused by albinism. The inky black stripes that engulf the tiger’s body like a warm hug stand out perfectly against their soft ashen pelts. Not to mention their beautiful blue eyes that protrude out against their white coat like two beautiful sapphires against freshly fallen snow. Years of evolution have bred these tigers for the hunt; underneath their thick coat are layers of muscle and specially evolved bone structure bred for survival in the harsh wilderness. Unlike lions, tigers are solitary animals. The tigers have to be self-dependent if they intend to survive. The tiger maneuvers swiftly through the dense underbrush, like a winding river. The forest alive with sounds, the tiger surveys her domain watching keenly for a single snack. She wanders the outskirts of her territory marking and remarking trees and bushes. Suddenly her ears erect, she hears a rustle in the nearby brush. A plump little boar wanders out of hiding. With one swift movement the tiger pounces with a thud. She has dinner for tonight, it’s small but it’s better than nothing. As the sun is sinking on the horizon as she feasts. Survival is the tiger’s number one priority and it is what drives their every
