Guiding Question: How do maps and globes reflect movement of ideas, people, and/or trade?
Pangaea was a supercontinent that existed approximately 270 million years ago. This supercontinent consisted of the seven continents we know today. As one would hopefully understand, this meant that there was one ocean, Which was called Panthalassa. The world we know today, with seven continents, has made and still makes a big change. These changes are happening because of the tectonic plates that the continents sit on. Approximately 270 million years ago, the earth as we know it, did not exist.
