Panera Bread Company was established in 1981. Louis Kane and Ron Shaich were the founders. Kane had a location in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Where Kane started off with bakery-café and Shaich with a cookie store, they both merge to one company where it became Au Bon Pain Company. It became very popular in the region. The combined purpose and gave the consumers the exposed of the “special” food giving the customers the choice of fat food and fine dining. Panera became branded as “Fast Casual” restaurant category.

The reason that Panera have concentrated on the “fast Casual” service it made the company be known for being a fast food and casual dining. Clients search for different things when they get worn out of eating the food over and over. In addition clients want choices such as healthy or quick food pick-up. For Panera Bread to be where is at now, they studied their clients and focus on their wants and needs. Because of their results that is how “Fast Casual” was presented to the business. Their results help them out consider what they are required to come up to draw a large number of clients. Panera Bread caters a great menu and comfortable atmosphere. Because Panera caters to the clients the result of this is they had great customer satisfaction
