The effect on panda after the 512 earthquake in Wenchuan,China

Panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca)is one of the world's most endangered species, that unique and rarely exist in China. The Earthquake that took place in 2008 Wenchuan, China, cause of huge damage to the ecosystem, which breaks down the environment that Panda live in and harm the living habitat of the panda.
On May 12, 2018, an 8.0 degree earthquake took place in Wenchuan, China. The quake damage thousands of lives. Through the earthquake, almost 375,000 people were injured, (CNN, 2009) The quake damage huge amount of lives, and it also had immediate effects and long-term effects on the natural environment. However, the immediate effects were apparent, the long-term effects were not well known. (Cheng, 2009) The damage to the natural environment will hurt the living habitat of the panda.

Using the amount of average to estimate, every 1 lkmz of bamboo can only raise around 2-3 pandas.(Taylor, 1987) Through the Wenchuan earthquake, about 300 km2 (60%) of the epicenter of the earthquake was denuded with a great number of organic and nonliving nutrients in the upper soil layer lost with the mass flows. (Cheng, 2009) The amount of bamboo was not enough before the 60% of the natural area are damaged.
After the earthquake, the secondary disasters, such as landslides, landslide and debris flow, significant changes the panda’s living environment. (Garwood et al, 1979) This kind of damage affects the growth of bamboo, which is the panda's main food source. The deducing of bamboo will impact the panda’s lives.
According to the table 1, Wenchuan earthquake cause the living area of panda lost 9,053hm2 in Dujiangyan area, 22,877hm2 in the Longxikou area and 7,354hm2 in the protection area. (Wang,
