Pancreatic Cancer is cancer of the pancreas that begins in the tissues of the organ, and rapidly spreads to neighboring organs. Infected areas are hard to treat, and are usually only noticed after the cancer has spread outside of the pancreas. In this genetic disorder, the CDKN2A, DPC4, p16, and p53 genes are unusually paired or missing. These abnormalities can cause pancreatic cancer. Dark urine, stomach or back pain, nausea, blood clots, and vomiting are all symptoms of pancreatic cancer. A patient experiencing any of these symptoms on a regular basis should notify his or her doctor.
