This explains why Villa never left the house without any bodyguards. Villa was scared of death, scared that the same thing he did to people in war, would soon happen to him. Villa exterminated a whole family except one, Jesús Herrera. Villa tried to end it all and kill Jesús, he sent not only a general, but a colonel to kill Jesús but there was little success. The author speaks on what Jesús has to say about Villa attacking his family and such. It’s claimed that Jesús sent killers and because of that, Villa sent a letter to the president, Obregón keeping him informed. Obregón said he would find a peaceful way to avoid this, little did Villa know, Obregón was planning to help Jesús exterminate Villa. Although Villa had security he still died, but not as soon as the killers wanted him to.
