Panchito’s family is also undocumented that did the labor job and get a low wage. His family lived in California doing a farm job, and moving place to place. The farm owners accept them to work but pay only some dollar for their work. Although his family does not have much money, he still wants him to go to school to meet American friends, learn English, and learn the way to be American (Jimenez). He and his father believe that English is a door that open for him to be American. Sometimes, He has to work hard to begin learning English. Also, he has to help his family to work or take care his younger sibling that make him does not have much time to learn English out of class. He has to remember the vocabulary and grammar by writing into his notepad and memorize it in his free time of work.
