You can’t tell the baking soda and flour from the boric acid, and the sugar from the salt. How will you determine which white powders are necessary to make pancakes? If then you can test all the white substances with different types of substances that would make them react. This is a continuous cycle until all 5 substances are completed. (you cannot repeat an substance for a inference.) This falls under chemical changes since you are changing the substance. You will start testing your water solubility to see if the powders are soluble, using your five substances in each tube.Drop a small amount of the substance into the tube and shake the tube shortly after you will see your results. The second test is vinegar (dilute acetic acid) to test this continue putting a small amount of each substance in each tube with 5 mL of vinegar the reaction will be bubbles. The next test will be Iodine test continue to set up the test tubes like the other two procedures, but set aside two test tubes. Drop 2 droplets of iodine in each and your reaction should be a blue substance. The last test would benedict's solutions it is performed for simple sugars the colors should change green, yellow, or brick red depending on the sugars.Repeat the steps of the other procedures and see what color the tubes
