Palmyra / Glass / Polyester composite. The similar results are observed for Sisal / Glass / Polypropylene [20], Roselle / Sisal / polyester [14], Banana / sisal / polyester [25], Jute roving / polyester [26], Hemp / Glass / Epoxy[27] composite. From table 7 show that PPLSF / Glass / Polyester [16], PPLSF/Jute/ Polyester [23] composite have higher flexural strength 173 Mpa, 164 Mpa respectively. This hybrid composite 30 wt%, 55 wt% fibers. In case of reason flexural strength improved. From the above observation PPLSF/CF – polyester composite have superior properties and potential reinforcement for manufacturing composite.

The maximum impact strength obtained P75C25 hybrid composite. which is 73% higher than neat resin. The impact strength of the composite P50C50, P25C75 have 30 KJ/m2, 24 KJ/m2. The impact strength of the composite decreased due to improvement of the fiber content. The impact strength of various natural fiber hybrid composite resulted are shown in table 8. Palmyra / glass/ polyester have 60 KJ/m2 . It is 50% higher than PPLSF/CRF- polyester composite. The same result has observed Palmyra /glass/ Polyester[17], Curuva / Glass / Polyester[16], Coir / Jute / polyester[23] composite. Finally a negative hybrid effect obtained in impact

My first research experience started when I participated in bone scaffold designing project at the Cooper Union in Spring 2012, under the supervision of professor David Wootton at Cooper Union Department of Mechanical Engineering. The purpose of this study was to design and manufacture bone scaffold for orthopedic trauma, especially for segmented bone fracture. I worked with a senior mechanical engineering student who had been conducting the research as his senior capstone project. The first task was to test manufacturing efficiency of two different types of polycaprolactone (PCL) with different average molecular weight. I concluded that the low molecular weight PCL is more convenient for mold-casting fabrication, due to low viscosity, while the high molecular weight PCL has an advantage of being mechanically stronger than the brittle…

Abstract: This paper describes the experimental results of different researchers to examine the properties and behavior of lap splice reinforcement in a concrete beam. Beam specimens were constructed and tested in the lab. The beam specimen was tested with monotonic (cyclic) and fatigue loading. The beam was divided into three groups: unwrapped, wrapped with glass fiber -reinforced polymer (GFRP) and wrapped with carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP).…
