Palms 127 Analysis

Decent Essays
I believe the writer of Palms 127 has such Confidence that God out ranks hard work and expensive resources because with God all things are possible. Just as the passage states, God is wiser than any human. If people confess to God their hopes and desires he will deliver to them. Often people think when God doesn’t give them what they want he is not listening to them, but he has a much bigger and better plan in store. God should be the center of everything we do. When God is the center of who a person is and what that person does, they cannot fail.
I personally think it is important not to work abnormally long hours on anything, no matter what it is. When people work long hours on things they tend to get consumed by whatever it is they are

At some point in the numerous journeys we embark on, we hit an obstacle and we feel all hope is lost. Sometimes we give up before any progress, and sometimes we give up right before we make it to the finish line, despite putting in so much effort to achieve it. Francisco Jiménez de Cisneros has occupied a shifting and uncertain place in the history of Western Europe in the sixteenth century. Historians have experienced considerable difficulty trying to pin him down in broad historical categories: he was a humanist, except for when he burned Muslim books in order to suppress their text-based philosophy. He was an ecclesiastical reformer, except for his unwillingness to create serious change within the Spanish Inquisition. The contradictions above are created by the focuses of scholarship, as traditional histories attempt to understand (and often, glorify) his character, while revisions focus on his (often suppressive) influences on others. One can identify a nascent post-revisionism, which attempts…
