Pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience caused by intense stimuli. Pain can range from dull, to extremely sharp, and even emotional. Pain can helps us survive by warning our bodies of potential danger, or can be an indicator that something is wrong.
Pain is a feeling triggered by the nervous system. Our bodies are covered with millions of pain receptors called nociceptors. Nociceptors send a signal to the spinal cord then to the brain. Nociceptors trigger responses when you are experience pain, like if you touch something hot your nociceptors would send a reflex message to jerk your hand away from the danger. In the movie "One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest" did you think that McMurphy was mentally ill?
While McMurphy was a rebel against authority, and acted ill to avoid labor at the work farm, I do believe that he did have a personality disorder due to his erratic and criminal behaviors.

I think this film did an amazing job exploding the control society uses even at the expense of an individual’s mental health. These men having difficulty’s coping with pressures the problems and pressures, and Nurse examples the her control though the use of “therapy”. Nurse Ratched abuses her professional power over her patients, and evokes and terrifies those she is suppose to be helping. She is power hungry and wants to control the patients with strict routines. As a result of her manipulative ways these patients will never live out side the ward, (other then the chief that ran away in the end) The decision that EC (Electric shock therapy) should be used to punish patients rather then as actual treatment for schizophrenia or depression was extremely upsetting to
