Pain In Elinor's Suffering

Marianne is in a lot of pain from heartbreak and believes that her sister would have no idea what she is feeling. It is ironic because Elinor does understand how she feels from her own experience. It shows that Marianne thinks that Elinor is as happy as can be and has no idea of the suffering she is feeling.
