For Paideia, I would teach something that seems rather simple, sewing. The art of sewing, besides in fashion schools, has been largely forgotten and put aside as a thing that used to keep women indoors with minimal use or skill in modern society. But clothes remain something that people obsess over and put a lot of money and time towards. Learning the actual process of creating an article of clothing can be so much more interesting and beneficial than most of the intelligent youth understands. Reed students are wildly creative and hard-working people, and therefore they would find unexpected satisfaction out of creating their own clothes to call their own.
