Making the decision to offer benefits for part time employees is the best route for JSH CPA, however there is still some additional work that needs to be done. The benefits offered to part time employees will look a little different than the current ones offered in order to keep cost low. There are ways to meet the needs of employees and employers without putting the organization in a compromised position. The company can offer paid time off, the 401 (k) plan, and health insurance.
Paid time off is essential in motivating employees to preschedule absences from work. When offering this benefit to part time workers JSH should base the amount of paid time off on the amount of time worked. This would make sure JSH would not pay employees
