It excites me to see so many opportunities open with some variation of credential management. Since each job description seems to fit within my scope of experience I am applying for the positions of Packet Assistant, Credential Assistant and Will Call/Production Assistant with The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
One of my biggest assets to these positions would be my experience working with CID Entertainment. I have worked many large-scale festivals and tours for the company on a contracted basis for about three years. The company manages volunteers and marketing for major festivals. With this company I worked a lot with the upkeep of their online data system that tracks their street teamers throughout the country. I was also in charge of scheduling and supervising of volunteer staff and their credentials.
As trombones and trumpets blow a second line passes down the street. I am reminded of how much I love being a part of the community that the Jazz & Heritage Festival and Foundation cultivates. Not only has the company created a world-renowned multi-weekend festival, you give back to the community and expose the world to the rich culture that the New Orleans music scene has to offer. I’ve been impressed as a festival patron; now I want to impress future guests in the same way your team has so assiduously done for me.
