Ocean’s Eleven is one of the most popular heist Hollywood blockbusters. The movie is a remake of Lewis Milestone's film in 1960 which was also calls Ocean’s Eleven starring Frank Sinatra. Steven Soderbergh did a great job as a director in keeping the audience interested throughout the whole movie time. Although the story is quite original and non-trivial Soderbergh’s idea to combine different genres was successful. The film demonstrates its large-scale approval from an outstanding combination of strong lead and supporting actors, humorous dialogue, brilliantly incorporated musical-score and a creatively complex masterpiece of inventiveness and flawless preciseness.…

SOME KIND OF AMAZING INTRO AND THESIS STATEMENT Salt to the Sea has been framed in an unique way, the beginning and end of the story is tied together using a common metaphor. The initial emotion gathered from the characters in Salt to the Sea is identical. Every character feels hunted; no matter where they are, they are never safe from themselves and their pasts. Comparing an emotion to that of a hunter alludes that these emotions are constantly there, waiting in the background before creeping up.…

An adventure means more than journey; it is a venture into finding the limits of existence. Movie creators use the power of the adventure film as a conduit to arouse feelings of thrill, suspense, fear, excitement, euphoria and in the process demonstrate the bold actions that mankind can reach. Two such movies that are archetypes of the adventure film genre are King Kong (1933) directed by Merian C. Cooper and written by Edgar Wallace and the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth (1959) directed by Henry Levin and written by Charles Brackett. The movie King Kong gives the audience an insight into the disastrous events that can occur when we attempt to disturb mother nature and bring her offspring to civilization. The production of this film…

One of my favourite books and movies is Jon Krakauer’s Into The Wild (1996) that was adapted to the screen by Sean Penn in 2007. The film follows the true story of Christopher McCandless’ expedition across North America and his time spent in the Alaskan wilderness where he died alone. During the film viewers are taken along a journey where they see the main character search for his true place in the natural world independent from the trappings of a normal suburban life. The movie is beautifully filmed and seductively draws us into the attraction of the American wilderness and the noble ambition to being self-reliant.…
