Guillermo del Toro also said that the detainment of the film is only temporary, adding that del Toro may work on another film in the middle. The director talked humorously that if he got tons of money, aside from filming the "Pacific Rim 2," he will also work on the fictional superhero by writer-artist Mike Mignola - "Hellboy 3" and the horror writer, H. P. Lovecraft's novella - "At the Mountains of Madness."

Adding up, Guillermo del Toro also tweeted about his plans to give the actress, famous for her character as Arya Stark in the HBO television series Game of Thrones - Maisie Williams, a role of a Jaeger in the forthcoming sequel.

Guillermo del Toro stated, "Had lunch with Maisie Williams yesterday," "Remarkable. Dammit- if 'Pacific Rim 2' happens, Maisie Williams is getting a Jaeger."

The Pacific Rim 2 film was planned to have an Aug. 2017 release date. However, it seems that the current delay would move the movie's release window a bit further.

Hallmark 's Cedar Cove will always hold a distinctive place in my heart for a variety of reasons, and I will admit that Teryl Rothery is one of them. I was introduced to this exquisite actress through that show, and I can still remember sitting there in my chair watching her portrayal of Grace. I so identified with her character, and once I began to research Teryl 's career, I was awestruck with her versatility and extensive range of her abilities that she has had the opportunity to demonstrate over the course of her impressive career. Few movies are sought fit for a remake, but in the case of The Manchurian Candidate (1962), it presented an opportunity to update this classic political thriller into modern times. Producing a remake also presents the risk of losing the original message altogether. Both films begin with an American soldier who is essentially brainwashed into becoming an assassin utilized by his own political family, more specifically his mother, to infiltrate the presidency of America. Behind the brainwashing is the most feared villains of the time, communists in 1962 and multinational corporate interest in 2004. The basic plot takes viewers through a curvy road of uncertainty in what the outcome of the film will be or where the film will take them next.…

The novel Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury is often compared and contrasted with its 1967 film counterpart, written and directed by François Truffaut. The minor differences between the novel and the film contribute to the way that Bradbury’s message is received by the audience. The novel better conveys Bradbury’s message of the destruction of the individual than the film does because of the way that it portrays Clarisse, its inclusion of the Mechanical Hound, the relationship that it builds between the reader and the characters, and the inclusion of Faber’s character. Clarisse McClellan plays a far more important role in the film adaptation than she does in the novel.…

Have you ever wondered why some movies often differ from the books that they are based on while others do not? The movie based on Washington Irving’s “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” and Katherine Anne Porter’s “The Jilting of Granny Weatherall” tended to stray from their original stories, the movie made from Nathaniel Hawthorne’s “Rappaccini’s Daughter” tended to stay true to the book. It is easy to see why the components of a book often change in the production of the movie when the publication of the books and their respective movies are often separated by decades. While producers try to stick as close to the book as possible, sometimes in order to develop a more captivating story they must change the characters, setting, plot to better suit…
