Pablo Picasso was a Spanish painter and architect who is widely considered to be the most influential artist during the first half of the twentieth century. Born on October 25, 1881, Pablo lived until 1973 when he died of a fatal heart attack. However, a man of many talents, Picasso contributed to many art forms, styles of art, and has inspired revolutionary risks among art lovers during his lifetime and beyond. Throughout his entire life and through all of his work Pablo Picasso has been credited with the co-creation of Cubism and the creation of some of the most expressive art forms. This stage continued from 1938 onwards, although historians debate that the painting“Interior with girl drawing” that was painted in 1935 may have been the true rebirth of his previously short lived war phase. Picasso spent the later years of his life teaching and inspiring new artists who strived to test history’s boundaries. Today Cubism lives on, and his ability to use color in symbolic, expressive ways has set the artistic bar high for all.
