After reviewing Pablo Picasso’s Bull’s Head sculpture, his ability to assemble the bike seat and handlebars and maintain it’s simplicity yet resemble the image of a Bull’s head is astonishing. I believe that if a much more modern seat and handlebar’s were used, then the apparent perspective of the Bull’s head wouldn’t have been as discernible. “The marvelous thing about bronze is that it can give the most heterogeneous objects such unity that it’s sometimes difficult to identify the elements that compose it.” (Picasso 1942). The creative process for this additive sculpture didn’t require as much effort as his other pieces but I’m sure that there was just as much detail provided in order to create the bronze texture.
