The assassination of Pablo Escobar was unjust because he helped his country and was a well-respected figure; however, some people believed he had too much money. Pablo Emilio Gaviria Escobar was known “Robin Hood” to Medellin,Colombia. Many thought of Pablo Escobar being irresponsible with money but people in Medellin,Colombia think otherwise. Pablo Escobar wanted to do what he thought the government never did which was help the poor.

Some people thank him because many people claim they wouldn’t be here without him. Pablo Escobar worked for his Robin Hood image. To some people he was a villain but not to citizens in Medellin,Colombia. Also they thought he used his money in a wrong way or negative way, a way to hurt society, but is using the money to build schools,houses,churches,clinics a bad way?

Some neighborhoods are still standing to this day. People have images of Pablo Escobar’s face cropped into a saint body. Others refer to him as “Godfather”. To the kids he was an important figure someone they admired. To the women he was a hardworking man, to the men he was someone to look up to. He made changes that the government would’ve probably never done.

Pablo growing up poor knew exactly how it felt. So himself made some changes. He put Medellin,Colombia on the map. He knew how it felt to have no help from the government so he gave help to many poor,low-income families. He was well respected for doing it also. Many thank him because they feel as without him they wouldn’t be here. Others most likely got help from him that they never got from the government.
