Help in the oxford dictionary is defined as “making it easier or possible for (someone) to do something by offering them one's services or resources” (Oxford). PETA claims they help animals but do they really? Do their campaigns help their cause or defeat it? Or is it the hypocrisy that they live by that drags them down? No matter what, PETA still keeps claiming something that they’re not. A PETA member told me that they educate the masses so people can make informed choices (Melissa). Is it really informed if they keep you from information that makes them look bad? I hope that I am able to help people make the informed choice of not supporting PETA. PETA is nothing like it seems, and it is time for the public to know.
PETA has terrifying methods of getting their points across. They have targeted kids with a traumatizing comic book titled “Your mommy kills animals”. This comic book was titled: Your Mommy Kills Animals. The books, which were hounded out in 2013, were given to children exiting holiday performances of the Nutcracker or theatrical shows at that time with women with fur coats (PETA). In 2007 two PETA employees were tried for animal cruelty. These employees were caught dumping dead cats in dogs in a dumpster. This is their way of showing compassion, isn’t it? One of their worst acts has happened recently. On October 18, 2014, 2 PETA employees illegally entered a family's house and kidnapped their dog. At first, this actions were denied until they were caught by surveillance cameras (Nathan). What did they do with the dog? Well, what else would they do other than killing the poor animal? They entered a house illegally, kidnapped a dog, and finally killed him just because they were trying to “save” the dog from people. The only people they should be protecting animals from is
