Fraser and Neave (F&N) is a prominent and leading food and beverage consumer group in the Asia-Pacific region. Most recently, it has also acquired substantial expertise in the publishing and printing industry as well. Briefly, its illustrious commercial portfolio first included beer brewing in 1931, then followed by dairy products in 1959, property development and management in 1990, and, most recently, publishing and printing in 2000.
As a very much admired blue-chip counter listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange (SSE), F&N ranks as one of the oldest, most established and successful companies in the region armed with an impressive array of renowned brands enjoying strong market leadership in each of their own areas. Although its business is much longer and better entrenched in Singapore and Malaysia (with its brands achieving household statuses), its market reach is nevertheless so diverse as to be able to establish a presence in a total of 12 countries spanning Asia, Europe and the USA. The sheer size of its combined industries means that it currently has on its payroll close to 9,000 employees.
