PE Should Be Required Of All Students In High School

“PE should be required of all students throughout high school”

PE or physical education should be required of all students in high school unless they can provide proof that they already play a sport and/or team game outside of school and want to learn how to manage their workload.

PE should be required because some students that go to their PE class either sit around and do nothing or at times when they are forced into doing something they just stand there and act like they are not there and more often than not they have a bad excuse for not joining in like “I’m too tired” or purposely forget to wear the correct uniform so they can get out of joining in.

Most kids and teens should get at least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity every day. They can get even more health benefits from doing a couple of hours of physical activity every day, but unfortunately most teenagers start to stop playing team sport around the age of fourteen or fifteen, A survey done in New South Wales shows that only about a quarter of children aged between 5 and 15 years do at least 60 minutes of moderate to

Playing a team game or a sport can be a stress reliever at times especially at higher levels, when you play a sport that you love with a passion and are very good at it can be a very good stress reliever, some people they get called up to play in regional trials and that can be a massive confidence booster and if you were to make it past regional trials and play regional and even for your state in whatever sport you play, than that can be an even bigger confidence booster and if you wanted to you could brag to your friends about
