Fitness and Goal Setting Knowledge Fitness and goal setting have been the main topic of conversation in this class. Whether we need to work on legs or arms today, or what we are going to do in the future. I learned that it is better to do quantity over quality when it comes to fitness workouts, and that it is always important to stretch and warm up your muscles before a workout to ensure you do not strain any muscles. For goal setting, I learned that if you pick a specific goal that you wish to achieve, like say to reach +10 in the fitness flexibility test, you can keep working towards that goal step by step, or in this case number by number, to reach your goals efficiently. When reaching towards a goal, you cannot just make it in one try…

Moving into the action plan and results of my wellness project, I can begin to say that it was an up and down process that had positive and negative results. At other times I was able to accomplish my goals for that period I had set and then try to keep on practicing that goal for the rest of time, while on other times it was hard to even try to get 50% of positive results from that goal. As I kept doing more research and learning more things in my Nutrition class, I had to do a lot of modifications when it came to my major goal so that I can benefit from it. First of all, one of my sub goal that was going to help me accomplish my goal was to have breakfast every morning. This had been a major problem for me this semester since I only have…

I wish I had improved on this skill because in the upcoming years, it will become crucial for me to participate in class discussions. Another goal that I did not meet was improving my nonverbal delivery skills.…

One of the most important things that you can do in your life is set goals. Without goals, you would live a life with basically no purpose; you would have no direction to follow and no ambition to strive for success. Goal setting is what gives a person short-term motivation and long-term vision. Throughout my life I have set many goals, but the goals I would like to make during college, or my short-term goals, are to become more organize and to stay healthy.
