The internal source of verbal information in ASDA gets from face to face interviews, Meetings, sale, HR, Customer service and from finance. The external sources of verbal information in ASDA are gets from customer, government and from suppliers.
Written Information
The second one is written information. Written information can be diagrams, words, charts and graphs. All these things use to represent words. The importance of written information is it gives legal documents for any parties. For example in ASDA documents ensure clarity among employees and customers and it will also minimise the chance for any minimise the chance for any misunderstandings. ASDA also use written information to instruct their employees, therefore, all employees know whom to contact in any situation and they also know who their boss is and know their job roles of the shop.
The main purpose of written information is to communicate with inside and outside of the organisation. Written information can be memoranda, report and letters. Their purpose is to promote the business image by communicating with the outside world.
Written information like newspaper, poster, leaflets and magazines can catch people eyes so easily so that they can transfer the important information

By using web-based information peoples can simply get the important information by using a computer in anywhere. This gives an advantage for many different people as the information can be reached wherever and whenever it is suitable for them. For example, ASDA uses web- based information to transfer its company information to its massive customer and for its competitor. On their website, they describe the good and service they giving for the customers. They also describe how many stores do they have around and the UK and how many employees do they have.
