In this task I will be explaining why my service user accesses the service provision.
Service provision is a term used to describe a range of activities. Some of which include health services and assistive devices.
In this task I am going to talk about my client, Tiaarn Foster. The service provision that my client access is the NHS. The NHS is associated with, The Princess Alexandra Hospital where Tiaarn attends for his appointments. I will be focusing on his physical, intellectual, emotional and social needs. I will also give reasons why he accesses the NHS, and I will explain how the NHS meets his needs. Also, I will describe the different methods of referral to care services and how my service user was referred. Lastly, I will describe the range of potential barriers when accessing care services and identify the barriers that my service user may encounter. By receiving this care Tiaarn is learning how to express his emotions. This is a beneficial need because as my client gets older he will develop his emotional needs holistically his overall wellbeing will be positive and lead a happier lifestyle.
