The three activity would be the recurses before the implementing the intervention. I would use the assessment to judge what intervention would be more beneficial for David.

Intervention One

The first intervention would be to allow David to use assistive technology to do drill and practice programs to work on weak skills. The drill and practice programs will surround reading and writing prompts. This is something David can work on independently since he enjoys working alone on homework. Also, I would give David the opportunity to review and revise his essays via word processor (technology).

Intervention steps: David can use assistant technology during free time or station time for independent work.

The teacher will meet David where he is mentally and challenge him to improve through school work. I would give David homework that gave examples of good writing prompts so he has an example to work towards.

Intervention steps: When giving out homework I would use scaffolding by giving David writing prompt examples to help him work through his homework assignment. Along with the example David will be given A step by step handbook on the POWER (Planning, Organizing, Writing, Editing, and Revision) writing technique. The POWER process involves the use of self- questioning, Graphic organizer, and peer editing (book). The example given to David will reflect that technique.

1.Give homework to class.

2. Go over the criteria for the assignment

3.Give David examples from either the book or printed documents so he can model his work after the provided examples using the POWER technique.

4. Record his grade on assignment

5. Monitor his progress by looking at his grades after receiving example to his grade before examples.

6. Check in with David see how the modeling is working for him

7. Slowly remove the examples to see if David can procedure quality work without
