Perfection is what humans hope to succeed in their life. However, many teenagers and young adults go through stages of anxiety, depression and self-hatred which leads to many hardships for young people, making it hard for them to believe that they are perfect. These types of mental illnesses can lead to serious self-harm and possible suicide. P!nk, like many others, has gone through mental illness in her earlier years and has understood the seriousness and scariness that come with mental illnesses. Rather than letting the mental illness destroying her and making her weak, she became stronger and a successful artist. P!nk is still seen in the video, but rather than being the main protagonist she is in the background letting the story and message be the main attention in the video. This is very interesting because many of the artist like to be in their video, but P!nk wants the story to be stronger than her appearance. Also by having P!nk in the background of the music video and singing along to the song, she shows the audience that even if they believe that they have no one that cares about them, P!nk does and she believes in them. By having P!nk still be in the video, the viewer is able to feel like that they have someone who relates to them and will support and love them through anything they go through even if they are someone as famous as P!nk is. It is a great strategy to use because the viewer can feel more motivated to get better and to beat their depression if they see someone who has come out of it and be the person they wish to be. Another reason P!nk does this is because when in that stage of depression and self-hatred, it is hard to believe that there is someone there for a person, and so by P!nk being there, she gives a visual and mental support to those who are in a depressed stage. The music
