Pápa Letter To Father

Decent Essays
Dear Pápa, You inspire me tremendously, you're my idol and I look up to you. You're a great hard working pápa with beautiful green eyes that I'm extremely jealous of. I love how you're so fun loving and that you correct me in my life by giving me advice that I can always use in my daily life. Not only that but you encourage me to try new things like going out for dance in the third grade because you knew how much performing in front of an audience means to me. You compliment me and build my self esteem up by saying things like, just because I'm short doesn't make me any less beautiful or incapable of doing certain things. You are just so different from other dads. You let do things like letting me go out with my friends because you know that I'm young and I need to get out, have fun and live my life to the fullest. Whenever you come back from work I think to myself about how grateful I am to have you in my life because without you I wouldn't be the person I am today, that is …show more content…
If I ever do this please feel free to yell at me or call me out on it. I feel like if I do this, I will disappointed not only my community but as being a Latina. Because I know how much you suffered and tired to get papers so you can find a good paying job here, then also leaving everything behind in our lovely country for the benefit of our future is something that just amazes me about you. I think you have a brave soul with a heart of gold and for that I honor and thank you for. Despite my worst fear currently my life has been going just great thanks to you. I know it's just the beginning of a whole new chapter in my life and I hope you'll help me through every new life experience just the way you always have been. Just know that I appreciate everything you do and I'll try everything I can to make sure you're proud of having me as your

Throughout my life I have always been a daddy’s girl. I would beg my dad to take me hunting, fishing, golfing, to work, and just about anywhere my dad went I wanted to go. We had a close bond until he was diagnosed with stage 3 liver and colon cancer during my senior year of high school. I was devastated by the news since the doctors had given my father about 6 months to live. To top it off, it was the first year I was able to attend a Mardi Gras ball and that year I was supposed to walk my dad out since he was a masker who rode in the organization’s parade.…

My personal Michigan hero is my father. For this essay I chose my father because all my life I have looked up to him, even when I was too young to realize it, because my dad has guided me through life, teaching me valuable life lessons and will always be there for me and my family. My dad has changed so much in his life for my brother and I, spent hours for a day for years raising us to be the people we are today and I could never repay that. At a young age my father’s parents divorced, and he did not see his real father often because he was in the Coast Guard. He then vowed at a young age, and then to his future wife(my mother) that he would never divorce and do that if he had children.…
