Oxytocin or (OT) is a hormone that is produced primarily from a part located at the bottom of the brain that called Hypothalamus. This hormone is known for its role in mammalian birth and newborns. Oxytocin facilitates delivery for pregnant mammalian, helps newborn recognize its mother, and increases the love between mother and her infant. However, recent documentations show that OT is involved in social behavior, parental behavior, and stressors management.
