His teacher assumed that he was a slow learner because Wing-Wolf was not learning what was being taught in class at the same rate as his classmates. The collaborative experience described in the essay “Eyeball to Eyeball,” does resemble an activity where I had to collaborate with other people. I will be giving two examples of when I needed to collaborate with other people. The first example is from when I was on the Gymnastics Team in High School, we had to collaborate to make floor and beam routines. To make a floor or a beam routine, was no easy tasks. Multiple people would be involved, including the person who would be performing the routine, and two to three creative people from the team.…

After reading the book into the wild by Jon Krakauer it showed me that Chris was not crazy and the different aspects of the trip. Why would someone so wealthy drop everything to go into the wild, although he did do it for himself, but did hurt everyone around him. He hurt everyone around him by dropping them and not talking to them and leaving them to find out about his death through the ones who found him. In the documentary that his sisters and parents starred in helped out with truth of his disappearance, and showed that he didn’t have the greatest childhood which could be apart of why he did what he did. Other contributors to this might have been Emerson, he seemed to have had the same mind complexion as Chris, their minds ran the same…

I assumed the director considered it unnecessary, but it was necessary for the author, F. Scott Fitzgerald. I can’t truly depict why it was needed in the book, but I would say it’s to add to the mystery that is Gatsby. Owl eyes didn’t believe that Gatsby had real books. I assume he thought they were cardboard and for show to illusion people to think he was richer than he actually was. Nora Helmer could be argued to be the “Doll” in the play “A Doll’s House” by Henrik Ibsen. She was spoiled by her father while growing up and now by her husband Torvald which, at first leads Nora to have a lack of reality and a sense of immaturity with childish tendencies and a lack of understanding the law. We watch how Nora slowly begins to learn how to think like an adult and become independent as the play unfolds. Her interactions with the members of the cast proves how much of an unrealistic view Nora has on her actions. Nora was sheltered her entire life and which can only lead to the question if she will be able to fend for herself and learn what it is to be a responsible adult.…

Is seeing really believing? The question of whether or not photographers go too far when they “stage” or “manipulate” a photograph’s scene, has been an ongoing issue throughout our history. When this topic became part of the discussion in class, I immediately held the belief that presenting a fake photo was wrong. To me, it seemed very cut and dry; honesty versus dishonesty. After all, it would be against a moral code of ethics for a person to do such a terrible thing.…

The structure of the eye contains several complex structures that make the eye like so of a camera. Without using complex equipment to view all parts of the eye or dissecting it, one can see three structures of the eye: the sclera, the iris, and the pupil. The white part of the eye is known as the sclera which is the outer most part, that helps the eye maintain its shape and protects the eye from injury. The black dot one can see in the middle of the iris is known as the pupil. The pupil is in charge of letting light into the eye.…
