Cause Of Overpopulation In The United States

Overpopulation occurs when there are not enough resources on the earth to support its population. Most people thinks that overpopulation starts with birth of new individual. So in present it is one of the enormous problem that the world facing it. The human population is increasing rapidly because of many reasons, although the most significant increase has been in the last 50 years, mainly due to medical advancements, increases in agricultural productivity. An immediate cause of increasing population is immigration. People now have the opportunity to travel to more developed nations which offer far superior medical treatment, education, security, and employment. I too, emigrated from India. Even though India is not considered a third world countries, the facilities provided in the United States are far superior to those provided in India. Also the effect of the immigration boom in the upcoming years will lead to an even greater increase of population. The people who come to the more developed countries are at less of a risk to die from the causes which are apparent in the less developed countries. The life expectancy has increased throughout the years and is still rising and medical treatments are become more efficient and revolutionary. Today diseases that would have meant the death of someone forty years ago are being treated easily. New vaccines and cures are found on a regular basis and new technology is introduced into the medical field every day.
