There are so many kinds of throws in ball sports. For my science project I need to know about them so I have backup for my Hypothesis. I am testing whether a basketball goes farther using a chest pass, a push pass, an overhead pass or an underhead pass.
The overhead pass has that extra flick of the wrist when your two arms are above your head. When you stop the motion to release the ball it gives a jolt to propel the ball forward.(Sarah Berton's brain). According to one source I read, this pass lacks strength and if a pass doesn’t have enough power it won’t go far enough (Teach PE, Overhead pass). If one hand is stronger than the other, the ball won’t go straight (Teach PE, Overhead pass).
