The years we spend in high school are one of the toughest, most memorable, and important years in our life. We get to overcome our fears and learn a lot about ourselves. There are many challenges we face. For example, seeking the approval of our peers, worrying about college, sports, extracurricular activities, our GPA, and finding a part time job for some students. The challenges that I want to overcome this year is catching up with prior knowledge that students already learned, procrastination and my attendance.

Even though i've overcome my illness I still have appointments and checkups frequently, which is difficult to work around school. Also, teachers are quite lenient with me, but there is only so much they can do so if I miss a substantial amount of school they can't always help me catch up. It’s a burden on my education.

I can't put all the blame on my disses I had a significant part to do with it. Proactionation had a big impact on my grades. When I had fallen extremely behind in school I would just give up and think there was no use. This mentality only furthered the problem. When I asked for help and stayed after to study with tutors did my grades improve, but only by a fraction. I still struggle with motivation today.

In conclusion I still struggle in school even in my senior year. I’ve learned a lot through my three years at highland. I have motivation to go to college now which means I have to overcome my procrastination habits. As for attendance I won't be in the hospital as much I used, but I will be at school more. “If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving
