The star of LocoCycle is I.R.I.S, a sentient motorcycle that looks like it is from the Knight Rider era of television shows. IRIS is supposed to serve as a tool for an unscrupulous defense contractor, but after being struck by lightning she decides to attend a freedom rally in Scottsburg, Indiana instead. Pablo, her unfortunate mechanic, gets his pants caught in her chassis so he is unwillingly dragged along for the ride. LocoCycle is clearly inspired by cheesy B movies so don't expect the plot to make too much sense. Trying to figure out how a human being can survive being used as a melee weapon by a motorcycle with martial arts abilities will just lead to a headache.…

Both of them, ironically, come from big families. Growing up, it has been difficult learning English as a second language because my parents were only Mixteco and Spanish speakers. As I got older I taught myself and tried extremely hard in school not to be a burden to my parents who were always worrying.…

Surrounded in a bubble the innocence I was born with left me blissfully ignorant of the situations in my household, however once I turned ten everything changed. For the first time in my life I could no longer hold onto the familiarity that I grew close to; I felt lost. The house I had always known, whose walls were my childhood canvas and whose corners were filled with faint memories, was being sold and I had to adjust to the idea of leaving my only home. Shortly after settling into my new home, my mother had my baby sister, Demetria Alexis Malinoski.…
