The worst obstacle I had ever face started when I was 4-5 and was in kindergarten. Kindergarten, you might ask.... Yes, it's true this event had forever transformed my life and made me into who I am today. Approximately 13 years and 19 days or 156 months and 19 days or 681 weeks or 4767 days I was sitting in a luminous classroom filled with other smiling lighthearted children my age.

At this moment I was completely petrified and afraid of socializing with my classmates and teachers. Throughout my life I have been different from "others". Sometimes people ask which came first the chicken or the egg? Well, my life revolves around this question. I consider myself to be the egg and others to be the chicken. The chicken or "others" are roaming around filled with exuberance, while I am the egg, encaged in a shell, waiting for the shell to break or crack open, all whilst being alone and isolated from everyone else.

This occurred during kindergarten when I had to get over an obstacle. This obstacle had taken me a long time to get through. It had taken me almost the entire school year in kindergarten for me to conquer and triumph over my impediment. Eventually I had conquered my shyness, by having enough courage one day

Any deterrent that might stop you from doing something immediately has to be removed. I let my shyness be my deterrent and it stopped me from almost not talking in kindergarten. Overcoming my shyness has helped me get through many stages and events in my life. Equally important, I had learned to persevere and to never give up on something even if it seems unlikely and not possible. The most valuable thing I had learned from my experience is when you set out a goal it is very possible and maybe even easy to achieve as long as you put in patience, hard work and

The adversities I have been challenged with in life taught me many lessons about myself, and who I want to become. I learned that hard work will always pay off, that sometimes you need to accept the things that you cannot change, and most importantly that you are never going through something alone. I have been blessed with an excellent pair of teachers over the past four years, and through their guidance I have learned to overcome adversity. Mr. Burdess, and Mrs. Bazyk have always taught their students that there is a lesson to be learned from everything, and that it's okay to lean on peers for support. It is my personal belief that my success in school is a result of the guidance I have received in overcoming the adversities that life has…

The star of LocoCycle is I.R.I.S, a sentient motorcycle that looks like it is from the Knight Rider era of television shows. IRIS is supposed to serve as a tool for an unscrupulous defense contractor, but after being struck by lightning she decides to attend a freedom rally in Scottsburg, Indiana instead. Pablo, her unfortunate mechanic, gets his pants caught in her chassis so he is unwillingly dragged along for the ride. LocoCycle is clearly inspired by cheesy B movies so don't expect the plot to make too much sense. Trying to figure out how a human being can survive being used as a melee weapon by a motorcycle with martial arts abilities will just lead to a headache.…

I have had a lot of things to overcome in my life, some of them worse than others, but when I was in the fourth grade I had to overcome a major obstacle. My great grandpa got really sick around Christmas and had to be put in the nursing home. He was in the hospital for almost six-months and everyone thought he was going to be ok, but one night my mom got a call saying that we needed to come to the hospital quick. My great grandpa had a heart attack while he was asleep and he died. At the time I didn’t really understand how one day someone could be here and be ok and the next day just be gone.…

As soon as I was back home, I ran to my room and belly-flopped onto my bed, buried my face deep within the fluff of my pillow, and screamed. I mean, sure, I had a few friends, but they were the only people I really talked to.…
