Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations. Obstacles in life make us who we are. Our desire and want to surpass these obstacles creates new paths for ourselves, which can lead to greatness and greater opportunities. Everyone in life is faced with countless obstacles, whether it be in my own life, my family, or society in general. Learning to overpass these difficulties will lead to future success and prosperity.

Overcoming obstacles is demonstrated countless ways in my own life. In particular, an obstacle that had shaped me to this day was my lackness in academics. Throughout elementary school, my ability to do well in school was well below standard. One outcome of this trauma was that my low self esteem had reached its limit.

For instance, an obstacle that had played a major part in my father's life, was his job attempt. My father came to Canada as a immigrant and wanted to countie working as a veterinarian, as it was his job back home. However, things took a turn and instead of him starting work first thing, he had to learn the curriculum all over again. This resulted in his time and focus on studying rather than his family. Another outcome of his job delay was the cost of taking the test. It was extremely expensive, and falling the test resulted in paying again. In addition to money, the time it took for passing the national test was well above 7 years. All in all, the negative obstacles resulted in stress and wanting to give up. Although my father could have backed down and looked for another profession, he knew that through this job supporting his family would be easy. In spite of all his stress, he never gave up and faced his challenges head on. Through hard work and determination he eventually passed every test, and today is a successful veterinarian with a proud and pleased family. My father taught me that no matter how tough life gets, always look for a chance to surpass it, as it will result in a far more luxurious
