When someone has set a goal for themselves, certain skills such as being hardworking, having a desire to lean, being determined, and being able to communicate well with other are essential to reaching that goal. I believe that I am hardworking due to me always putting my best effort in assignments and tests. I also have a desire to learn as I’m excited to learn something new whether it be expanding my knowledge or skillset. I feel that I am determined as I am focused and I have my vision set on my goals. Lastly, I can communicate extremely well with others as I can easily share my ideas and thoughts with people. These skills will eventually help me in reaching my goal of getting into the Engineering program at the Royal Military College of Canada.
When in the process of trying to accomplish a specific goal, many obstacles will slow you down in the works. Some may include financial problems, emotional stress, etc. However, I believe that becoming distracted is a big obstacle that I face currently.

If you are hardworking, it is understood that you won’t procrastinate and you will put your best effort in everything you do. With hard work, one would not have academics as an obstacle and won’t become distracted as easily due to the perseverance he/she has. I also have a desire to learn, in which I won’t be interested in social media, but in expanding my general knowledge, hence improving your academics. With determination, I will remain focused and will have my vision set on my goal. I can also communicate well with others, allowing me to discuss my problems and finding a good solution.
